ESH SUMMER SCHOOL 2023 IN GAZZADA SCHIANNO, ITALY – A ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE!
This year’s ESH Summer School took place from September 24 to 29 in the north of Milan at Villa Cagnola, a beautiful historical location surrounded by a splendid park with centuries-old trees. A perfect place to host one of the most important ESH initiatives.
50 participants from 34 countries gathered to experience an event characterized by cutting-edge lectures from internationally recognized experts and by an increased level of interactive lectures.
The scientific program was divided into several didactic and practical sessions that presented the latest findings and addressed the most promising research projects in the field of hypertension. All sessions were organized to provide unique opportunities for networking, discussion, and interaction between the participants and world-leading experts.
Special hands-on teaching sessions were held for smaller subgroups, focusing on blood pressure measurement, tonometric assessment of PWV, and echocardiographic assessment of LV mass.
To enhance their presentation skills and to share their research, each participant was required to present an e-poster. All sessions were very well attended with many discussions during and after the presentations.
We sincerely hope that the participants and faculty had a very pleasant time making new contacts and enjoying the great Italian hospitality.
