ESH SUMMER SCHOOL 2022 IN ARANDJELOVAC, SERBIA, WAS A GREAT SUCCESS!
After two challenging years with the COVID-19 pandemic, we are pleased to announce that our recent ESH 2022 Summer School in Serbia was a great success.
It took place in the beautiful wine region south of Belgrade at the Hotel Izvor in Arandjelovac.
From September 18 to 23, 56 participants from 31 countries gathered to follow lectures, participating in discussions with our faculty, practicing in workshops and socializing in the evenings. This way, the ESH Summer School reached its goal by being a networking, educative and innovative experience for all of them.
The courses covered key aspects of pathophysiology and management of hypertension from basic science to clinical practice in an educative environment pursuing medical excellence.
Each participant presented their abstract live in the form of an e-poster to the audience. A faculty jury then decided on 3 presentations to be awarded with the ESH 2022 Summer School Award. The winners are:
- Bodil Hornstrup, Denmark
- Ivana Miljkovic, Serbia
- Yuling Yu, China
The winners are invited to attend the upcoming 2023 ESH Annual Meeting in Milan, Italy, with complimentary registration. The awards are generously supported by an educational grant by SERVIER.
We sincerely hope that the participants and faculty had a very pleasant time building new relationships and enjoying the great hospitality in Serbia.
